Vision: 

To be a strong, reliable and respected research institution in its field at the national level.

 Mission:

To coordinate research, application, education and extension activities to be carried out on fruit growing and breeding within Iğdır University.

 Goals:

To encourage students at associate, undergraduate and graduate level at Iğdır University to prepare thesis/graduation studies in the fields of fruit growing and breeding and fruit sapling production and to provide the necessary support.

In line with the purpose of the Center, to carry out publication activities based on the relevant literature and field studies, to prepare scientific reports, to provide consultancy and expertise services within the scope of the study subjects.

To conduct scientific research on issues related to the fields of activity of the Center, to produce/execute projects, to be a partner in the projects being carried out, to cooperate with similar centers established for this purpose.

Utilizing the services of national and international scientists and experts from outside the institution, depending on the nature of the projects being carried out.
